On 15th August 1947, India got independence from British Empire, thanks to the sacrifices of made by millions of great freedom fighters. Some of them were revolutionary, while others believed in truth and non-violence. The most prominent among them were Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose, and many others. Subhash Chandra Bose was one such patriot whose efforts in bringing freedom from British Empire were so unique and innovative. He went to Japan, established Indian National Army and paved the way for starting clarion of India’s clear warning to the British to quit India. The Britain was so terrified with Subhash’s Indian National Army that it is believed that they gave freedom to India on the condition of taking Subhash from India. What truth is, no one knows but one thing is sure that Subhash Chandra Bose was great hero of India’s Independence. It’s an irony that still no one knows what happened to great Netaji, but all must agree that he made a great effort to win Independence for India.
It’s true that his qualities of determination, fearlessness, never dying spirit and dedication are still very significant ones. But what we all need today is the real independence, which is not freedom from any specific people of other country or our own country but from the evil. If we conquer it, we will become the real Subhash.
How to become Subhash?
Today, the situation is undoubtedly grimmer, tougher and more adverse than we had during his time as now we have more problems than then. No one can say that his or her life is an exemplary or value-based as all are more or less vicious. At such a crucial time, it is more important to take inspiration from leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose; but, how?
First of all, we need to understand the meaning of his name and implement the same through our acts. The name Subhash means Shubh+Aash, i.e. to have an auspicious wish. Now one must be curious as what this auspicious wish is. For this, we need to refer to the wish or dream that Bapu Gandhi ji had – to bring true Ram Rajya in India and he lived entire life on the principles of truth and non-violence. Both Bapu Gandhi and Netaji are not with us now. But their ideals and values are still with us. And the good news is this that we have someone with us who is Bapus’ Bapu, i.e. Father of the Fathers. His Name is God Shiva, which means benefactor or auspicious. He is incorporeal and bodiless. Therefore, He is immune to the cycle of birth and death and Ocean of Knowledge, Love, Happiness, Bliss and Almighty, Saviour. His Abode is Incorporeal or Soul World. His form is the subtlest point of light. Surprisingly, our form is also same as we too are also souls, but He is Supreme Soul. And to play our role or perform karma in this eternal world drama, we take this body. So, one must know what is Shubh Aash of that Truth-Auspicious-Beautiful Shiva. His Shubh Aash is to see us becoming truthful, peaceful and vice-less. And His mantra to make us like this is Manmanabhav, i.e. to stabilize our mind in Him or to remember Him. And this is possible when we become soul-conscious, see ourselves as souls and being the progeny of one Supreme Soul God Shiva, see each other as soul-brother. And His slogan is to bring World Transformation through Self Transformation, i.e. to transform ourselves from completely vicious to completely vice-less and, from completely devil to completely deity and then, inspire others too. As we recognize God and learn His 7-Day Rajyoga meditation course and start listening to His Godly discourse and remembering Him, we become embodiment of Knowledge, Purity, Peace, Love, Happiness, Bliss and Power, which are the basic virtues of us souls. It must be remembered that 82 years have already gone since God’s incarnation on the earth and now it is time for Him to go back and take us back too along with Him to our Sweet Silence Home or Paramdham. So, there is very little time left to make return journey to Paramdham and then, comeback to this world which will be called Paradise or Heaven then.
On the occasion of 122nd birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, let’s pledge to fulfill Shubh Aash of the most beloved Supreme Father God Shiva and just like Netaji, let’s make a perfect strategy to root-out the real enemy – five vices and attain complete Self-Sovereignty.
