Let’s Become the Real Subhash

Our great freedom fighters sacrificed their lives for the nation. On 15th August, 1947, India became independent from the British Empire. Some freedom fighters were revolutionary, and others believed in truth and non-violence. Few most prominent among them were Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose.

Subhash Chandra Bose was such a patriot. His efforts in freeing India from the British Empire were exceptional and innovative. He went to Japan, established the Indian National Army. And paved the way for starting a clarion of India’s clear warning to the British, to quit India.

Subhash’s Indian National Army petrified the British. They freed India on the condition of taking Subhash away from India. No one knows the truth, but one thing is sure. Subhash Chandra Bose was a great hero of India’s Independence. It’s an irony that still no one knows what happened to great Netaji. But everyone will agree that he made a great effort to win India back from the British.

His qualities of determination, fearlessness, un-dying spirit, and dedication are still crucial today. But what we need today is the real independence. Not freedom from people of another or our own nation, but from the evil. If we conquer this evil, we will become the real Subhash.

How to Become the Real Subhash?

Today, the situation is grave, and more adverse than we had during his time. Because now we have more problems than during the British India. Today, you can’t say that your life is an exemplary or value-based. Everyone is vicious. So it’s crucial to get inspired by leaders like Subhash Chandra Bose. But, how?

Let’s first understand the real meaning of his name and practice it in our act. The word Subhash means Shubh + Aash. It means to have an auspicious wish. You might be curious, what this auspicious wish could be. To understand this, let’s remember Gandhi ji’s dream – to bring true Ram Rajya in India. Gandhi ji lived on the principles of truth and non-violence. Both Bapu Gandhi and Netaji are not with us but their ideals and values still exist.

The good news is, we have with us who’s Bapu’s Bapu. That is, Father of fathers. His name is God Shiva, which means benefactor, or auspicious. He’s incorporeal and bodiless. So He’s:

  • Immune to the cycle of birth and death
  • Ocean of Knowledge
  • Ocean of Love
  • Ocean of Happiness
  • Ocean of Bliss
  • The Almighty, and
  • The Savior

His abode is the Incorporeal Home or the Soul World. His form is the subtlest point of light. Our form is also the same because we’re also souls. But He’s the Supreme Soul. To play our role, to perform karma in this eternal world drama, we take this body. So you should know what is the Shubh Aash of that Auspicious-Beautiful Shiva.

His Shubh Aash is to make us truthful, peaceful and vice-less.

He’s here to Transform the World through Self Transformation. That is, to transform ourselves from completely vicious to completely vice-less. And, from completely devil, to completely deity. And then, inspire others to transform too.

His mantra to make us like this is Manmanabhav, i.e. to stabilize our mind in Him, or to remember Him. This is possible when we:

  1. become soul-conscious
  2. see ourselves as souls
  3. be the progeny of one Supreme Soul God Shiva
  4. and, see each other as soul-brother.

When we recognize God, learn His 7-Day Rajyoga meditation course, listen to His Godly knowledge and remember Him, we become the embodiment of the seven basic virtues of a soul. They are:

  1. Knowledge
  2. Purity
  3. Peace
  4. Love
  5. Happiness
  6. Bliss, and
  7. Power

But remember, 83 years are already past since God incarnated on earth. Now, it is time for Him to go back and take us along to the Sweet Silence Home, or Paramdham. So there’s very little time left before the return journey to Paramdham. After the return journey, we come back into the world which we call Paradise or Heaven.

On the occasion of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s 122nd birth anniversary, let’s pledge to fulfill the Shubh Aash of the most beloved Supreme Father God Shiva. Like Netaji, let’s make a perfect strategy to root-out our real enemy – the five vices. And achieve complete Self-Sovereignty.
