A two-day Digital Wellness Awareness and Training Program was organized for all Brahma Kumaris (BK) teachers and students in the Warangal Sub-zone on the 20th and 21st of July, 2024. The program, aimed at empowering participants to conduct Digital Wellness sessions in schools and colleges, was held in Warangal and saw an attendance of approximately 150 individuals.
The event was facilitated by the IT Wing of Brahma Kumaris, with BK Bala Kishore serving as the lead trainer. Key topics discussed included Digital Addiction, its detrimental effects on the mind, brain, and body, as well as practical methods for overcoming this growing issue. Techniques for Digital Detox were also highlighted, providing participants with tools to promote mental well-being and healthier digital habits.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the Brahma Kumaris to address the challenges posed by the digital era and support individuals in maintaining a balanced and conscious approach to technology.
