Diabetes HOPE Retreat is a 4 days in-hospital Diabetes Camp, conducted at Global Hospital and Research Center, Mount Abu – Rajasthan. This program helps participants to expand their diabetes management skills through various educational activities.
It is conducted by the team of Diabetology, headed by Dr. B. Ramya (Physician and Diabetologist).
During the Diabetes Camp, a special session on Digital Wellness was conducted by Dr. B. Ramya, to raise awareness about the potential negative effects of excessive screen time on overall health, particularly for individuals living with diabetes. The session focused on educating participants about how prolonged exposure to digital screens can lead to decreased focus/attention on the daily activities which further leads to increase mental stress, poor sleep quality, increased release of toxins in the body – factors that can hinder effective diabetes management.
Our mission is to empower individuals to regain control over their health and to envision a future, free from the constraints of diabetes through lifestyle modifications.
