Digital Wellness Session Empowers Women on International Women’s Day

On 12th March 2025, a special Digital Wellness Session was organized at the Nanded Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center in celebration of International Women’s Day. The session was facilitated by Sister BK Laxmi, Center Incharge of Shivshakti Bhavan, Bopodi, Pune, and coordinated by Sister Swati from Nanded Brahma Kumaris Center. The event witnessed an enthusiastic participation of over 100 women.

Sister BK Laxmi addressed the pressing challenges of digital addiction, reduced attention span, and mental health issues caused by excessive screen time and constant connectivity. She provided practical insights on maintaining digital balance through:

  • Setting screen time limits to reduce dependency.

  • Taking regular digital detox breaks to refresh the mind.

  • Practicing mindfulness and meditation to enhance focus and inner peace.

An interactive Q&A session allowed participants to share their concerns and receive personalized guidance on overcoming digital distractions.

The session successfully raised awareness about the need for a balanced digital lifestyle. Attendees deeply appreciated the practical techniques shared and expressed their commitment to adopting healthier digital habits in their daily lives.
