The auspicious festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with grandeur and spiritual fervor under the theme “स्वर्णिम युग का एक मनोरम दृश्य – Mera Bharat Swarnim Bharat” at Prajapita Brahma Kumaris Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Art & Culture Wing, Dilshad Garden Centre, Delhi. The celebration was organized on 19th August 2025 at Shanti Sadan, Block-C, Opp. G.T.B. Hospital, Red Light Chowk, Dilshad Garden, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.
The venue was beautifully decorated, radiating divine vibrations of peace and joy as around 200 brothers and sisters gathered with devotion to commemorate the divine birth of Lord Shri Krishna.
The event was graced by esteemed Guests – Lieutenant Shri Dinesh Chand Papnay, Associate NCC; Dr. Mool Chand, Director, Anant Jyoti Eye Hospital; Dr. Sandhya, Ex-CMO Delhi Government; and Shri Vinay Kumar, ASI, Delhi Police. Their presence added dignity and value to the celebration.
Centre Incharge BK Indra Didi warmly welcomed all the guests and presented them with Godly gifts as tokens of divine blessings. In her address, she emphasized that Janmashtami is not only a festival of joy but also a reminder to imbibe divine virtues and live a life of purity and values, thus contributing towards the creation of a Golden Bharat.
During his address, Lieutenant Shri Dinesh Chand Papnay inspired the youth to take lessons from the life of Shri Krishna and dedicate themselves to selfless service of society while upholding moral values.
The programme featured beautifully prepared jhankis (tableaux) of Shri Krishna, which were admired by all visitors. The celebrations were further enriched by children of Shanti Sadan dressed as Shri Krishna and Radha, devotional songs, cultural performances, and spiritual discourses, creating a divine and vibrant atmosphere.
The occasion was part of the ongoing project Mera Bharat Swarnim Bharat, aiming to spread spiritual awareness and cultural values for the establishment of a peaceful and prosperous society.
The festival concluded with collective joy, spiritual upliftment, and renewed inspiration to create a Golden Bharat filled with divine virtues and values.
