This is my deepest wish, this is my heartfelt longing,
that I may become like you, O my Brahma Baba.
This is my deepest wish, this is my heartfelt longing,
that I may become like you, O my Brahma Baba.
May the days spent together never fade from our memory,
may you remain merged in the heartbeat of every heart.
Carefully selecting flowers, the garden was adorned,
its fragrance brought back memories of you.
Heartfelt prayers were written in red letters,
in your sweet drishti, we felt ourselves absorbed.
Why should those moments not return once again?
In every heart’s heartbeat, it is you who abides.
This small room, this hut, tells a story,
it speaks silently of your renunciation and tapasya.
Holding us in your lap, swinging us gently,
walking together hand in hand.
These memories of ours will never diminish,
in every heart’s heartbeat, it is you who abides.
This is my deepest wish, this is my heartfelt longing,
that I may become like you, O my Brahma Baba.
You are always with us, and together we shall move on,
you had made this promise to us.
Becoming an angel yourself, you promised to make us angels too,
you departed to the soul world to prepare and adorn us as well.
The moon, the sun, and the stars of the sky
all offer flowers of reverence to you.
This is my deepest wish, this is my heartfelt longing,
that I may become like you, O my Brahma Baba.
