Shiva gave you the name Brahma,
And you experienced the vision of Vishnu sublime.
भागीरथ बन ज्ञान-अमृत की गंगधार बहाकर चले गए
Like Bhagirath, you brought forth the sacred river of wisdom’s nectar,
And let it flow before you moved on.
