Forget the fading world;
ignite the inner lamp of awareness.
Let go of the illusion of the physical world,
and connect your heart only with Shiva.
This world is a whirlpool-like game,
where every desire becomes a ghost haunting the mind.
See it as a fair of illusions,
where every traveler ultimately walks alone.
Break every bond now,
and form your true relationship with Shiva.
See how all worldly bonds are momentary,
often leading only toward sorrow.
Those from whom you once hoped for joy
are the very ones who leave you in tears again and again.
Break every bond now,
and form your true relationship with Shiva.
Even the closest ones have played such tricks
that they left deep wounds on the heart.
Now all false emotions have faded away,
and all worldly attachments have extinguished.
Break every bond now,
and form your true relationship with Shiva.
This web of glass-like dreams is fragile,
and Maya torments the soul every moment.
There is no real love or true companionship here;
every relationship turns out to be mere transaction.
Break every bond now,
and form your true relationship with Shiva.
