MOUNT ABU

A hill station in the Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state in western India. It is referred to as ‘an oasis in the desert’ as its heights are home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests. Mount Abu is the only hill station in Rajasthan, and one of the greenest cities in the state. Needless to say that because of the lush green paradise that the city is, it is home to a varied flora and fauna. Monsoons give the city emerald hues, which are a pleasure to see.

The International Headquarters of Brahma Kumaris is situated in the beautiful valley of Mount Abu. It is also one of the famous Hindu and Jain pilgrimage sites due to its several Hindu and Jain Temples, including Dilwara Temples, Adhar Devi Temple, Shri Raghunathji Temple, Achaleshwar Mahadev Temple and many others.
