Verse 1 तेरे एहसान है मुझ पर बाबा तेरा हाथ है सिर पर बाबा माया कितना जोर लगा ले निश्चित जीत है हर पल बाबा I am indebted to You, Baba, Your hand rests upon my head. No matter how strongly Maya may attack, victory is certain at every step, Baba. Verse 2 तेरी शक्ति मेरे साथ है कट चढ़ने की क्या बात है ज्ञान की चिता पर आसन मेरा पीछे हटने की क्या बात है Your power is always with me, so what fear is there of obstacles? Seated firmly on the pyre of knowledge, what reason is there to retreat? Verse 3 प्रतिज्ञा की है पावन रहूंगा सदा ही विष से दूर रहूंगा योग अग्नि से पावन बनकर संग तुम्हारे घर चलूंगा I have pledged to remain pure, forever distant from poison. Purified through the fire of Yoga, I will return Home with You. Verse 4 तुमने ज्ञान का नेत्र दिया है जीवन को पवित्र किया है मुझे रूहानी नशा चढ़ा कर गोल्डन स्पून इन माउथ दिया है You have given me the eye of knowledge, You have made my life sacred. Filling me with spiritual intoxication, You placed the golden spoon in my mouth. Verse 5 मिली बधाइयां अपरंपार दिया है तूने जो वरदान श्रेष्ठ पालना मिली है मुझको मिला है सच्चा गीता ज्ञान I have received endless congratulations through the blessings You bestowed. The highest sustenance I have received, and the true knowledge of the Gita has been mine. Verse 6 प्रतिज्ञा की है पावन रहूंगा सदा ही विष से दूर रहूंगा योग अग्नि से पावन बनकर संग तुम्हारे घर चलूंगा (Repeat pledge as above) Verse 7 मम्मा की शिक्षा अनमोल ड्रामा का यह चक्र है गोल पुरषार्थ से प्रालब्ध मिलती मधुर हो गए मेरे बोल Mamma’s teachings are priceless, the cycle of drama turns endlessly. Through effort, fortune is attained, and my words have become sweet. Verse 8 (Closing Pledge) प्रतिज्ञा की है पावन रहूंगा सदा ही विष से दूर रहूंगा योग अग्नि से पावन बनकर संग तुम्हारे घर चलूंगा I have pledged to remain pure, forever distant from poison.
