O my life — without the Beloved’s love,
to have a body is only in name.

प्यासी धरती की प्यास बुझे
बादल बरसे बरसात बने
मुख से सुख का अमृत बरसे
जब मन हरशे तब बात बने
गुण गान किया ना भगवन का
गुण गान किया ना भगवन का
गाते रहना किस काम का है
ये सासो शिव की याद बिना
May the thirsty earth’s thirst be quenched;
may clouds pour down and become rain.
May the nectar of happiness flow from our lips;
when the heart rejoices, right action follows.
If we have not sung the Lord’s praises,
if we have not sung the Lord’s praises,
what is the point of keeping on singing?

दुनिया में लाखो आते है
आते और जाते रहते है
पर अमर है जो उपकार करे
और दिल से सेवा करते है
मेरे मन ईश्वर के ज्ञान बिना
मेरे मन ईश्वर के ज्ञान बिना
फिरते रहना किस काम का है
ये सासो शिव की याद बिना
Millions come into the world,
they come and they go,
but immortal is the one who does true service,
and serves sincerely from the heart.
