Where it began

How it started

It began with a government partnership. Over three years, it grew into a people's movement — one program, one village, one school at a time.

Signing of MoU for Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan between the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment and Brahma Kumaris
  • Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment
  • Brahma Kumaris
  • Narcotics Control Bureau (collaboration support)
  1. Partnership

A formal MoU brought the Ministry and Brahma Kumaris together for one shared goal.

  2. Launch

The national launch — schools, rallies, and public awareness programs.

  3. State expansion

The work spread to more states and union territories.

  4. Institutions

Offices, campuses, hospitals, and seva kendras came on board.

  5. Public awareness

What started as a campaign became a nationwide movement.
