(रक्षा बंधन एक अति पवित्र त्योहार है वास्तव में पहले जमाने में बहन भाई को राखी नहीं बांधती थी एक ब्राम्हण आता था जो हर एक घरमें जाकरके यजमानों को राखी बांधता था और उनसे यही कहता था की परमात्मा आपकी रक्षा करेगा)
(Raksha Bandhan is a deeply sacred festival.
In earlier times, sisters did not tie Rakhi to brothers.
Instead, a Brahmin would visit each home,
tie Rakhi to the householders,
and remind them:
‘God Himself will protect you.’)
भाग्य विधाता लेकर आए
पावनता की राखी
जोड़े सब संबंध उन्हीं से
प्रीत वही एक साची
आओ मिलकर बांधें सबको
प्रभु प्रेम की राखी

With Rakhi of purity, one by one.
All relationships connect through Him—
Only His love is true and within.
Come, let us tie together today
The Rakhi of God’s loving way—
A Rakhi of purity,
A festival of divinity.

(जब बहन भाई को तिलक लगाती है
तिलक आत्म स्थिति की निशानी है हे आत्मा अपने आप को पहचानो आप यह देह नहीं हो आप एक सूक्ष्म ज्योतिबिंदु स्वरूप आत्मा हो फिर उसे राखी बांधी जाती है ताकी आत्मा ये प्रतिज्ञा करे की हम अपने जीवन को पवित्र योगी बनाएंगे विकारों को जीतेंगे फिर हम भाई को मिठाई खिलाते है ये मिठाई जीवन के मिठास की निशानी है और फिर भाई रिटर्न में विकारोंकी प्रतिज्ञा करता है की ये मैं दान में देता हूँ।)
(When a sister applies the tilak to her brother,
it is a symbol of soul-consciousness.
It means: ‘O soul, realize your true self—
you are not this body; you are a subtle, divine point of light.’
Then the Rakhi is tied,
as a vow that the soul will now live a pure, yogi life,
and conquer vices.
Next comes the sweet offering—
symbol of sweet behavior and elevated interactions.
Finally, the brother offers a return gift—
not material, but spiritual:
he donates the vices he vows to renounce.)

मिलकर सतयुग लाएं

And let body-consciousness fade in silence.
Speak sweet words with a loving face,
Let every word be filled with grace.
Gift one another pure elevated thoughts,
Together let’s bring the Golden Age forth.
Let us build heaven
On this Rakhi festival day.
