"Rosary of Lights - Closeness, Accomplishment, Perfection"
11 November 1985 · English
Today the Master of all the dipaks, the One who illuminates and brings light to the world, is seeing the rosary of lights. Deepmala is really your memorial; so the Lord and Master of the lights is now looking at you, the true rosary of lights. This rosary is unique. The Master is unique and the rosary is also unique. People do not know the Master, nor do they know the rosary. If they were to recognise the Master, they would also recognise the rosary.
The festival of the rosary of lights is the memorial of three specialities which all of you have: First, closeness. Love is always merged with closeness. If the rosary did not have the foundation of love and closeness, it could not be a rosary. It is only when the beads of the rosary, the lights, come close together, with love, that the rosary can be created. Love means closeness. The sign of love is closeness.
Secondly, accomplishment. The festival of the rosary of lights is a sign of accomplishment It is not just one Lakshmi who is the goddess of wealth; all of you are remembered as being the deities who bestow. The deities of wealth, the deities who are the bestowers: this is the memorial of your accomplishment.
The third aspect is perfection. Perfection means a lamp that shines constantly. The rosary of lamps cannot be created with lamps which have been extinguished. Only when a lamp is constantly lit can it be said to be part of the rosary of lamps. So, constancy and steadiness indicates a perfect lamp. The memorial of the festival of the rosary of lamps is a reminder of these three specialities, closeness, accomplishment and perfection. This is why this day is considered an important day, a big day.
Whatever festival is celebrated that is considered to be a great day because it is the day of those who have greatness in the world. Who are the ones who are the greatest in the world? Who are the ancestors and the worship-worthy ones? All of you can understand this for yourselves. Do you experience all these specialities in yourself? It is your memorial that is being celebrated. Those who become the embodiments of remembrance are also the ones who create the memorials. Have you become the embodiment of remembrance or do you still say, "We are becoming this?" What will you say? If the flame has been lit then darkness disappears. Are you _one whose flame is shining, or flickering? No one likes a lamp that keeps fluctuating, one moment on and the next moment off. No-one likes it if the light does not burn steadily; they would rather blow it out. What is preferred: a lamp that burns constantly or one that keeps flickering?
Why do they have holidays on important days? Whenever there is an important day, they celebrate it with a holiday and there is happiness because of the holiday. When people look at their calendar each month, what is the first thing they see? They check to see how many holidays there are. An important day means a day of holiday; it means a day of liberation from labour, a day for experiencing the pleasure and happiness of love. When you have given a holiday to Maya and to all weaknesses, labour finishes and then the days of pleasure and celebration begin. A holiday is also a day of rest and what is your rest? Do you ever take 'ahram' (rest) or do you say, "Ah Ram" (come Rama). So, you do not say, "We need a rest", but you say, "Hey God, come", and this is what brings true rest. What else do they do on this festival? They congratulate each other, they give greetings. Whenever there is a festival, people meet and greet each other. Why did this system begin and when congratulations are given, what is the custom? They hug each other, shake hands, share sweets, and celebrate with happiness. So, your greetings and congratulations are expressed in the giving and taking of love and remembrance.
At the Confluence, that is, on these special important days, you are the ones who bid farewell to Maya for all time. You say goodbye to Maya and, so, there is celebration. You are the ones who are becoming victorious and so BapDada constantly congratulates such victorious children. He gives you love and remembrances, He congratulates you. BapDada congratulates you every day. This is why the memorial also consists of congratulating each other. As BapDada gives you love and remembrances each day, what .words does He use? He says, "Sweet, sweet children", and He sweetens your lips with this. BapDada uses this term, 'sweet, sweet' every day, and so they also share sweets as a memorial of this and sweeten each others mouths.
Are you the ones who are celebrating the true festival of lights in this way? .It is your memorial that is being celebrated. You celebrated with Baba and this is why the whole world is now celebrating your memorial. Do you understand the significance of the rosary of lights? To become this is to celebrate.
All of you have come for this festival and so BapDada smiles on seeing the rosary of lamps. It is this meeting which is the celebration. You have come to the home of all pleasure. Madhuban means the home where there .IS every form of pleasure. When the mind experiences pleasure then every task one does also brings pleasure, nothing but pleasure. Then there IS no form ~f confusion at all. When there are the questions "Why" and "What", there is confusion. But when you say, "Aha, oho", then this is pleasure. So 'why' and 'what' have finished, have they not?
You have finished celebrating the burning of Ravan, so you have now come to celebrate Diwali. The festival of lights cannot be held before the festival of the burning of Ravan has taken place. When Ravan has been burnt completely then the festival of lights takes place. You are the ones who are victorious.
Achcha. There has been increase in the numbers of children and as this will continue so a new system will also have to be created. It has now been seventeen years since becoming avyakt, that is, seventeen lessons are over. What more remains? It is because of love for the children that BapDada, 'even though He is avyakt, has continued to take this temporary chariot and come into corporeal form; this has continued for seventeen years. Seventeen years is not a short time.
There is a limit to both time and the body. The word you use is 'avyakt' and yet your desire is to experience the meeting in the corporeal. Why is this? Is it because it seems easier? Still, in order to fulfil the responsibility to new children and to finish their complaints, BapDada continues to come. But on the 18th of January the eighteenth year will begin.
What happened in the 18th Chapter (of the Gita)? Everyone was ready. Have you completed all service? Now, like the Father, become avyakt. Have you served in the subtle form? Even the Avyakt has to come into the corporeal. Now become avyakt, destroy all attachment, and maintain the consciousness of One, that is, become the embodiment of remembrance. This service still remains. The service of going on pilgrimage on foot has been done; now give the experience of the spiritual pilgrimage. Now there is need for this pilgrimage, and this is why BapDada will also celebrate the meeting with the children on a subtle level. The system has to be transformed in accordance with the growth (of the yagya)
It is the right of the children to have the murli. The meeting through the murli and through avyakt drishti is the children's right. Through the words and through the drishti, both forms of meeting can give the experience of blessings. This is why, now, stabilise your consciousness in the subtle stage and experience all blessings through drishti. Otherwise, in seeking to listen, you may miss the importance of drishti.
There are two expressions that have been remembered: The experience of 'going beyond simply through one glance' and 'the magic of the murli' Experience claiming all rights and all blessings simply through drishti. The more that you stabilise your consciousness in the subtle stage, the more you will be able to catch the language of avyakt drishti. A blessing received through drishti is a blessing of permanent transformation. Whereas the blessing that comes through words is sometimes remembered and sometimes forgotten. By taking on your own avyakt form and receiving blessings through avyakt drishti you become the embodiment of remembrance permanently; you become the embodiment of power. So, through drishti learn the language of drishti. How did establishment take place? The task of establishment began

Achcha, you will hear more about the service of the 18th Chapter.
Children are the decoration of the home. The decoration of Madhuban have arrived in Madhuban, and so celebrate: sing, dance; but in a subtle way, in a way that is avyakt and yet filled with love; not with the detachment that the world understands but detachment that is filled with love. So, play, eat, laugh and dance in this way.
BapDada smiles on seeing all the children of all the centres both here and abroad, on seeing the rosary of victory, the rosary of lamps around His neck. BapDada congratulates each victorious light for the confluence age and for every birth in the new world. Congratulations forever to the children who have all three specialities, who constantly stay close, who constantly are accomplished, who constantly maintain perfection and who are full on the basis of the Trimurti relationships. These greetings are for all time; they will remain with you forever. BapDada is also congratulating the wealthy children. May your treasures stay with you forever. May you constantly be sweet. You are the ones who also make others become sweet. With sweet words and with sweet wishes in your heart, you are the ones who sweeten the minds and lips of all others. So, blessings of constant sweetness.
BapDada is seeing the shining lights of all the children. Although many children are far away, BapDada is seeing all the glimmering lights together in front of Him. The thoughts, words, letters and cards that all the children sent as greetings are in front of BapDada and, in return, BapDada is giving the children, here and abroad, congratulations for the festival of the rosary of lights. But BapDada multiplies congratulations multi-million times.
BapDada does not mention specific names, but each one is in front of Baba in name. The garland of names of each and everyone is now around BapDada’s neck and all the variety of cards are fixed on the walls in the subtle regions. The sound of each one's heart has reached the Comforter of all hearts. And so, to the children who are here personally, and to the children who are close and yet far away, love, remembrances and Namaste filled with closeness, perfection, love and accomplishment.
To the Dadis
The special victorious jewels of the rosary have been especially remembered and worshipped. You are those special worship-worthy souls. Whenever such a day comes then, the more that you stabilise yourself in the avyakt stage, the more you will experience all the bhagat souls invoking you. There should be special vibrations that you are able to send, through Baba, to fulfil the pure hopes and desires of those bhagats. At the end those bhagat souls will also see you, their worship-worthy souls, in a clearly revealed form together with the Father and they will say, "Yes, these are our special deities".
Who are the ones who become the special deities? Why do they call you this? Because you are completely stable in the consciousness that through one support, one power, there is benefit. So, for the bhagats, you are able to fulfil everything. You are the ones who now have this feeling of absolute faith and devotion to the One Father and you maintain this consciousness of stable remembrance of One. So, you are the ones who become the special deities. This is the stage of one strength and one support. The sign of those who become the special deities is that they are stable in the consciousness of having one support both in faith and in service, and are strong in all relationships. This is why there are bhagats who also maintain stability in remembering their special deity; they do not stumble around going from one to another but are unshakeable in their remembrance of that one deity.
So, Baba will be clearly revealed but, together with Baba, there will also be the revelation of those special gods and goddesses. Let there be the intoxication that we, the elevated souls, are being invoked. And now, through Baba, give those souls the return of their remembrance. It will be from Baba that they will receive, but you will be the instruments responsible for that. This is why those special deities are worshipped and remembered. The special bhagats fast on particular days and make special spiritual endeavour. They pay special attention to maintaining awareness and concentration and so, in return for this they should be able to receive vibrations from the children who are the servers. Let there be the experience that we are those special souls.
BapDada is here, of course, but the special, unique children are also with Him. There should be this feeling in a practical form, just as there is the custom of giving blessings which also will be experienced in this way. When Brahma Baba had reached perfection everyone would Naturally feel they were receiving blessings from him as he walked and moved, as he looked. In the same way, as you walk and move, experience fulfilling souls through the Father. There will be no need for you to say anything with the lips but, because there will be the experience of attainment and benefit, the words, "These are those souls", will come from everyone's lips. They will sing this song. That day has to come.
Now you must reach the stage of being an image that grants visions. Now the service has to be of granting visions by being the image that grants visions, just as at the beginning as you walked and moved, you ~w the image that granted visions. You did not see Brahma, you saw Krishna. You fell in love with Krishna, not Brahma. Brahma disappeared and Krishna was seen, and this is why you came running here. So when they say that Krishna abducted everyone, it is true because you did not see Brahma as Brahma but as Krishna. This was the form that was granting visions and this is what gave you such intoxication and made you come running. It was the visions that made you renounce everything.
Visions in bhakti are just simply for seeing, but when there is a vision in gyan it is not just for seeing; there is also the experience of attaining. There is a difference: not just seeing but attaining: "Krishna belongs to me", "We are the gopis"; this was the intoxication that initiated the beginning. "We are those ones, those are our images". Let this intoxication grant visions for service now as well. As people listen they are influenced, but there is no transformation. They say, "Good, good", but they do not become good. But when there is attainment through visions, they will not be able to keep from changing.
As all of you have become so, too, while you walk and act, give visions of your angelic form; not just those of you who give lectures, but let all of you be seen as the images that grant visions. There are many who give lectures, but all of you are the ones who give the experience. Those who are able to do this are the ones who move ahead. You cannot give an experience simply by conducting classes. Even as they hear classes, they continue to desire an experience. So, now change the lectures and start giving that experience, and only then will they realize that these are the people of God. The people of God' means the ones who are totally detached and unique. Until now they simply said, "This is also good, that is also good", and they continued to mix everything together. But now become the image that grants experience, and give them the experience of attainment and benefit.
