3 January 2026 – The Humanity in Harmony programme was held at the Zoroastrian Centre, Harrow, bringing together around 60 participants from eight different faith communities. After four months of online meetings, participants came together in person, creating a warm atmosphere of unity, cooperation, and shared values.
One of the main highlights of the evening was the Youth Voices session, which focused on the importance of listening for building harmony. During this session, Sister Vini from Brahma Kumaris shared a deep spiritual message, saying that listening begins with inner silence, where we can experience our true self as a being of light. Her words inspired everyone to reflect inwardly and connect with their spiritual identity.
Sushmita Sahu also shared her thoughts, explaining that listening to the inner self helps us live in harmony with our values and leads to a more meaningful and authentic life. Her message was well received, especially by the young participants.
The programme concluded with a peaceful time of prayer and reflection in the sacred Fire Temple, leaving everyone with feelings of calm, respect, and togetherness. The event strengthened friendship and understanding among different faith groups, and participants expressed enthusiasm for continued collaboration, with a positive outlook and clear plans looking ahead to 2026.
The Humanity in Harmony event beautifully reflected the spirit of unity in diversity and the shared goal of creating a more peaceful and harmonious society.
