On 12 March 2026, an inspiring session by Brahma Kumaris Sister Shivani was organized at Techno Group of Institutions, Lucknow. The session focused on the theme “Inner Leadership and Outer Excellence” and encouraged the audience to understand the importance of leading the self before leading others.
The program was also graced by the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Shri Brajesh Pathak along with members of Young Indians (YI) and other distinguished guests, making the event memorable for everyone present.
During her speech, Sister Shivani explained that leadership is not only about managing people or organizations. She said that true leadership begins with managing our own mind and thoughts. Every day our mind creates many thoughts, and if we do not learn to guide them properly, those thoughts can start controlling our emotions and actions.
She shared that a real leader is someone who creates stability, clarity, and trust in the environment. When our mind is calm and positive, the energy we radiate also becomes positive and influences the people around us.
Sister Shivani encouraged everyone to start the day with positive thinking and awareness by asking themselves what kind of thoughts and emotions they want to create during the day. She explained that leadership is not about position but about the energy and influence a person carries.
She also highlighted that while organizations focus on skill development, the most important development is development of consciousness. A peaceful mind helps in making better decisions and building respectful relationships.
Explaining the power of thoughts, she said that thoughts create feelings, feelings create attitudes, attitudes shape actions, actions become habits, habits form personality, and personality creates destiny.
Sister Shivani also shared that stress and anger are not created by situations but by our interpretation of them. Through Rajyoga meditation, we can train our mind to remain calm and create positive thoughts.
She concluded by reminding everyone that inner peace and inner leadership naturally lead to outer excellence. The session left the audience deeply inspired to practice silence, positive thinking, and self-leadership in their daily lives.
