From 28 May to 5 June 2026, the Brahma Kumaris Design & Innovation Wing undertook its first international journey under the theme “Beyond Borders, Designing Destiny.” Carrying Madhuban’s message of spiritual values, inner empowerment, and conscious creativity, the delegation visited three countries—Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan—strengthening cultural and spiritual connections and demonstrating that for the soul, there are no boundaries.

The tour began in St. Petersburg, Russia, a city renowned for its architectural beauty and cultural heritage. The local Brahma Kumaris Center, lovingly known as the “Lighthouse,” welcomed the delegation with great warmth and transformed into a vibrant center of spiritual learning and fellowship. During the visit, participants attended spiritual classes, experience-sharing sessions, and inspiring meetings with Raja Yoga students from across the region. A unique spiritual picnic on a boat was also organized, where participants enjoyed meditation, fellowship, and appreciation of nature while sailing through the picturesque waterways of the city.

A major highlight of the visit was a public dialogue held on 4 June 2026 on the theme “Developing Your Internal Resources: Become the Designer of Your Destiny!” The event brought together designers, educators, IT professionals, and cultural leaders to explore how true innovation begins within. Distinguished guests included Mr. Viktor Romanov, President of St. Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design, and Ms. Larisa Koroleva, Head of the Department of Costume Design at the Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design. They shared valuable insights on how the principles of Raja Yoga align with the true purpose of design—creating harmony, meaning, and a positive atmosphere for humanity.

The event also brought special recognition to the local Brahma Kumaris center. Didi Santosh, Director of the St. Petersburg Center, received a diploma for the project “Unity and Trust through the Inner Powers,” which was declared a winner in the III International Contest “Create Health 2026.”

Several eminent personalities shared their thoughts on the theme of designing one’s destiny. They emphasized the importance of self-understanding, inner transformation, harmony between the inner and outer world, and the role of spiritual values in creating meaningful lives and societies. They appreciated the Brahma Kumaris for creating a platform that encourages personal growth, creativity, and positive social change.

Continuing the journey, the delegation visited Minsk, Belarus. On 1 June 2026, a public program was organized at the modern creative venue “Art-Fabrika,” attracting around 100 creative thinkers, professionals, and seekers. Through insightful presentations and spiritual discussions, participants were guided to explore their inner strengths and resources through the wisdom of the Divine Intellect. The concluding meditation and spiritual talk by BK Savita deeply touched the audience, with many participants describing the experience as a “spiritual tsunami” that brought the atmosphere of Madhuban to Belarus.

During the Belarus visit, the delegation also had the privilege of meeting H.E. Mr. Ashok Kumar, Ambassador of India to Belarus, at the Embassy of India. The Ambassador appreciated the unique combination of spirituality and modern creativity promoted by the Design & Innovation Wing and expressed interest in organizing a future collaborative conference for designers.

The Belarus program concluded with a visit to Tapovan, a peaceful natural sanctuary and future eco-retreat. The visit created an atmosphere of closeness, harmony, and spiritual upliftment among all participants.

The final destination of the international tour was Baku, Azerbaijan. Here, the delegation continued sharing the message of conscious design, self-transformation, and inner empowerment. Through meaningful interactions and spiritual exchanges, the visit reinforced the understanding that spiritual values transcend cultural and national boundaries and unite people through the universal language of the soul.

This first international journey of the Brahma Kumaris Design & Innovation Wing successfully spread the message that true design begins within. Through public programs, meditation experiences, meetings with distinguished personalities, and interactions with creative communities, the Wing inspired individuals to recognize their inner potential and become the designers of their own destiny.

The tour concluded with renewed enthusiasm and a shared vision of building a world based on peace, creativity, cooperation, and spiritual awareness, proving that while countries may be separated by borders, hearts remain connected through universal human and spiritual values.
