22 December 2025 marked a significant and meaningful interaction as the Security Services Wing (SSW) team paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Governor of Arunachal Pradesh at Raj Bhawan, Itanagar. During the meeting, the Hon’ble Governor was briefed about the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Security Services Wing and the ongoing North-East outreach campaign being conducted for security forces, with special emphasis on the Indian Army and other uniformed services.
The interaction was led by Captain Shiv Singh and Bk Madhuri, who shared insights into SSW’s sustained initiatives focused on inner empowerment, stress management, and value-based leadership. These initiatives are aimed at strengthening emotional resilience, moral values, and inner stability among members of the armed and uniformed services.
The Hon’ble Governor, Lt Gen K. T. Parnaik (Retd), PVSM, UYSM, YSM, VSM, Former GoC-in-C Northern Command, expressed his deep appreciation for the commendable efforts of the Security Services Wing. He acknowledged the importance of spiritual strength and inner balance in enhancing the effectiveness and well-being of security personnel. It was a moment of pride for the SSW team as the Hon’ble Governor graciously consented to be the Chief Guest for the forthcoming SSW programme scheduled in April 2026 at Mount Abu.
The courtesy meeting concluded on an inspiring note, reaffirming a shared vision of nurturing values, inner strength, and holistic well-being among security forces serving the nation.
