20 July 2026: Brahma Kumaris participated in the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign under the Tree Plantation Mahayagya–2026, organized at D-Block, Tanki Wale Park, Shastri Puram, Agra Metropolitan Area. The initiative promoted environmental conservation, honored the spirit of motherhood, and encouraged collective responsibility towards building a greener and more sustainable India.
The campaign was inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Hon'ble Union Minister of State Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel Ji and Hon'ble Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Shri Yogendra Upadhyay Ji. The event was also graced by Hon'ble MLA Shri Babulal Ji, BJP Agra Metropolitan President Shri Rajkumar Gupta Ji, District Magistrate Shri Manish Bansal Ji, BJP Metropolitan General Secretary Shri Mahesh Sharma Ji, Metropolitan Media In-charge Shri Rohit Katyal Ji, Shri Gaurav Sharma Ji, Shri Naveen Gautam Ji, Councilor Shri Virendra Lodhi Ji, Councilor Smt. Praveena Rajawat Ji, Smt. Anju Garg Ji, along with sisters from the Brahma Kumaris, school students, teachers, public representatives, and a large number of distinguished citizens.
On this occasion, participants planted saplings and collectively pledged to protect the environment while spreading the message of "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" to every household. The campaign highlighted the importance of preserving nature, recognizing the nurturing role of mothers, and inspiring every citizen to contribute towards a cleaner and greener future.
