Tankpur, Champawat:
On 21 May 2026, an addiction awareness program was organized at 52 SSB Tankpur, District Champawat, where around 25 people benefitted. Participants were informed about different kinds of addiction and ways to protect themselves from harmful substances. They were also guided to follow meditation and healthy lifestyle habits for better physical and mental health. During the program, people took a pledge to remain free from addiction throughout their lives.


Begusarai / Khagaria, Bihar:
On 21 May 2026, a drug awareness program was held at High School Saidpur Panchayat, Khagaria District, Bihar, where around 120 students benefitted. The program began with prayer and welcome song. Sisters of Brahma Kumaris explained the harmful effects of drug addiction and encouraged students to live a healthy and disciplined life. A question-answer session was also held and many students took a pledge to stay away from drugs. The school Principal appreciated the initiative and encouraged everyone to spread awareness against addiction.

Bongaigaon, Assam:
On 22 May 2026, an addiction awareness program was organized at Islampara Kyopoti Jama Masjid, Bongaigaon, where around 250 people benefitted. BK Rajeev, Medical Wing Speaker, explained the physical and mental harm caused by addiction and guided everyone with Rajyoga meditation. He encouraged people to develop strong determination and spiritual strength to overcome bad habits. He also advised parents to first bring positive change within themselves because children learn from elders. Local people appreciated the campaign of Brahma Kumaris and appealed to society to protect children from addiction.


Lohaghat, Champawat:
On 24 May 2026, a Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan program was organized at 36th BN ITBP Chamaniya Camp, Barakot Road, Lohaghat, District Champawat, where around 156 people benefitted. Participants were guided on meditation and healthy lifestyle habits for better physical and mental health. They were encouraged to make themselves, their family, friends, and community drug free, as change begins from self. Youth were inspired to take responsibility in building a healthy and addiction-free nation, and all present took a pledge to support the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
