On May 30, an enriching onsite program was conducted featuring Sister Rajni, a senior yogi, international spiritual teacher, and National Coordinator of the Brahma Kumaris in Japan and the Philippines. Through an interactive and thought-provoking session, participants were guided back to the original truth of who they are and how to live each day from that awareness.
During her insightful sharing, Sister Rajni emphasized that the Yoga of the Mind is the connection of the mind to well-being, enabling individuals to return to a state of clarity, peace, and inner alignment. She highlighted that true well-being begins with positive thinking for oneself and for others and that virtues and values form the foundation of a meaningful and balanced life.
She further explained that every individual possesses six innate qualities of goodness that define well-being: Wisdom, Peace, Love, Purity, Happiness, and Power. These qualities naturally emerge through the realization of the spiritual identity, understanding, “Who am I?” and recognizing oneself as a soul endowed with these eternal virtues.
Participants were reminded that, despite the challenges and chaos of the external world, they are fundamentally beings of goodness. Maintaining this awareness helps preserve inner stability, resilience, and a deep sense of well-being. Sister Rajni encouraged everyone to hold the powerful thought, “Today, I am learning to return to my goodness,” explaining that regular practice of this awareness gradually builds confidence and inner strength.
She also recommended consciously recalling this awareness multiple times throughout the day. In the Brahma Kumaris organization, such moments of spiritual remembrance are observed during specific pauses at 10:30 AM, 12:00 noon, 3:30 PM, and 5:30 PM, as well as during the early morning and before sleeping. Through this consistent practice, inner power develops naturally, gently, and steadily.
The program concluded with a guided meditation experience that offered participants a valuable glimpse into the true significance of meditation as a practical tool for maintaining well-being. The silence enabled them to pause, turn inward, and experience how quiet awareness can restore clarity, balance, and inner peace.
The session was deeply appreciated by all attendees, leaving them inspired to strengthen their spiritual awareness and cultivate lasting well-being through regular self-reflection, positive thinking, and meditation.
