On the auspicious occasion of Raksha Bandhan, members of the Indian community and friends of India in China came together to celebrate the festival with love, harmony, and cultural pride. Representing Brahma Kumaris China, Sister Sapna tied a Rakhi to Consul General Shri Pratik Mathur, symbolizing the sacred bond of protection and goodwill.
To commemorate the occasion, the ladies gracefully showcased India’s rich cultural heritage by wearing colourful traditional sarees as part of the National Handloom Day celebrations. Adding vibrancy to the festivities, children enthusiastically participated in an Art & Crafts Competition on the theme “India of our Dreams,” expressing their visions with creativity and hope.
The gathering also resonated with patriotic fervour as the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign was invoked. Adults and children alike waved the national flag with enthusiasm, reaffirming their love and respect for the motherland.
The event beautifully blended tradition, cultural pride, and national unity, leaving participants with cherished memories and strengthened bonds of love and positivity.
Jai Hind, Jai Bharat.
