On 3 March 2026, a special programme titled “Dialogue for Finance Leaders – Courage, Clarity and Compassion in Leadership” was organized at the Brahma Kumaris Om Shanti Retreat Centre in Gurugram. The programme brought together more than 120 CEOs, CFOs, Directors, Founders and senior finance professionals from different organizations.
The aim of the programme was to explore how spiritual wisdom and values can strengthen leadership and support better corporate governance. Through inspiring talks, thoughtful reflections and interactive group discussions, the participants shared their ideas and experiences in a very positive and open atmosphere.
During the session, speakers highlighted that in today’s fast-changing world, leaders need inner stability, clarity of thought and compassion to make responsible and value-based decisions. When leaders develop these inner qualities, they are able to guide their organizations with greater balance, wisdom and integrity.
BK Asha Didi, Director of Om Shanti Retreat Centre,
welcomed everyone. She shared that the Brahma Kumaris organizes special programmes for finance professionals like CAs and CSs to help them reduce stress and bring balance in life. These programmes teach meditation, digital wellbeing and work-life balance. She also explained that Brahma Kumaris does not charge any fees and the activities run through voluntary contributions and CSR support.
BK Lalit Bhai spoke about
the importance of courage, clarity and compassion in leadership. He shared that he helps manage the accounts of more than 7400 Brahma Kumaris centres. Many sisters who handle accounts are not trained accountants, so he guides them. He explained that people work better with love and respect, not anger. In the Brahma Kumaris, many people serve without salary because they are motivated by spiritual values.
BK Sister Shivani shared that
real happiness does not come only from success or money but from a peaceful mind. She explained that our thoughts affect our health, relationships and life. She suggested simple habits like waking up early, meditating daily, avoiding too much negative media, eating light at night and forgiving people before sleeping. These habits help reduce stress and bring inner peace.
The programme encouraged participants to reflect on the role of spirituality in leadership and how it can help create a positive work culture and responsible decision-making in the corporate world. Many participants shared that the dialogue was inspiring and gave them a new perspective on leadership.
The programme concluded in a warm and thoughtful environment, leaving everyone motivated to bring more values, awareness and compassion into their professional and personal lives.
