The Digital Wellness Team conducted a series of Digital Wellness sessions at various institutions and workplaces, including Punjab National Bank, Garfa Branch, bringing awareness of healthy and conscious digital habits to the banking sector.
The session addressed several important dimensions of modern professional life, including Screen Time, Digital Distraction, Social Media, Mental Well-being, Sleep, and Work-Life Balance.
Participants were sensitised to the physical and mental consequences of prolonged screen exposure and encouraged to recognise how frequent notifications and task-switching can affect attention and productivity. The session also highlighted the importance of developing a conscious approach to social media consumption and understanding the relationship between digital habits, thoughts and emotional well-being.
The importance of maintaining healthy boundaries between screen usage and rest was emphasised, along with the need for a balanced approach to professional responsibilities and personal well-being. The programme encouraged participants to ensure that digital connectivity does not compromise their mental peace, health or quality of life.
The initiative demonstrated that Digital Wellness is not simply a student-awareness subject, but an increasingly important component of workplace wellness and sustainable professional performance. The session inspired participants to adopt mindful digital practices and create a healthier balance between technology, work and personal well-being.
