On 20 August 2026, an impactful Drug Awareness Programme was organized at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla, as part of the vision of the 10 Crore Addiction-Free India Campaign. The programme aimed to inspire students to choose awareness, wellness, and a purposeful life over addiction.
The gracious presence of Prof. (Dr.) Dipak Kumar Sahoo, Vice-Chancellor, VSSUT, added great strength and encouragement to this noble initiative.
The programme highlighted the importance of empowering young minds with awareness and positive values to prevent addiction. Students were encouraged to stay away from substance abuse, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and contribute towards building a stronger and healthier society.
The initiative conveyed the powerful message that strong minds build strong nations. The youth were inspired to dream bigger, live healthier, and stand firmly against addiction.
The programme served as a meaningful step towards creating greater awareness among students and strengthening the collective vision of building an Addiction-Free India.
