On the eve of the International Day of Older Persons, a special program titled “Yoga Cum Spiritual Discourse for Senior Citizens” was organized by Brahma Kumaris Sub-Zone, Unit-9, Bhubaneswar, in association with the SSEPD Department, Government of Odisha. The event took place at the Central Lawn, SBI Colony, Kesura, Bhubaneswar, in a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
The program commenced at 6:30 a.m. with Rajyoga meditation in remembrance of the Supreme Soul, creating an environment filled with peace, love, and divine power. The participants experienced deep inner calmness and positive energy, setting a divine tone for the day. This was followed by a welcome address and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, symbolizing light, peace, and purity.
In her inspiring address, BK Geeta Didi, Sub-Zone In-Charge, Unit-9, Bhubaneswar, emphasized that age is not merely a number but a beautiful phase to experience inner strength and spiritual awakening. She shared that spirituality and positive thinking play a crucial role in maintaining mental, emotional, and physical well-being during the golden years of life.
The event beautifully blended yoga, meditation, and spiritual wisdom, offering senior citizens an opportunity to rejuvenate their minds and souls while embracing peace and positivity.
The program concluded with vibrations of harmony, blessings, and divine inspiration, encouraging all participants to lead a life of balance, gratitude, and inner peace.
