- London: Yoga Traditions Unite for Peace and Harmony
On 21 June 2026, the High Commission of India, London, organised an International Day of Yoga 2026 celebration bringing together diverse Yoga traditions on one platform. The programme featured sessions by Anahat Yoga, Chi Kri Yoga, Iyengar Yoga, SRMD Yoga, Art of Living, Heartfulness UK, Isha Foundation, and Brahma Kumaris UK. Participants experienced various aspects of Yoga, including movement, breathing practices, meditation, and mindfulness, highlighting Yoga’s power to unite people and promote health, inner peace, and harmony.


- Cambridge and Oxford: Yoga and Rajyoga Meditation for Holistic Well-Being
As part of the International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations, The Nehru Centre, in partnership with Brahma Kumaris UK, organised Yoga and Rajyoga Meditation sessions at Inner Space, Cambridge, and Global Retreat Centre, Oxford. The sessions highlighted that Yoga nurtures the body while Rajyoga Meditation empowers the mind and soul with peace, clarity, and inner strength. Participants were inspired to develop self-awareness, positivity, and a balanced lifestyle through these practices.

- Glasgow: Yoga for Healthy Ageing
A special Yoga session was organised in Glasgow, Scotland, on 21 June 2026 as part of the 12th International Day of Yoga celebrations. Organised by Yoga Teacher Ms. Manjulika and attended by the Consul General, the programme aligned with the theme “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.” The session highlighted Yoga as a lifelong practice supporting physical vitality, mental well-being, and graceful ageing, while sharing the message that Yoga combined with meditation helps individuals experience greater peace, wisdom, and happiness.


Message of Appreciation and Global Well-Being
Brahma Kumaris expressed appreciation to the High Commission of India, London, India in Scotland, The Nehru Centre, Ministry of External Affairs, Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), and Ministry of Ayush for promoting Yoga and holistic well-being across communities. The International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations across the UK reflected the universal message of Yoga and meditation — inspiring peace, harmony, self-awareness, and a healthier way of living.
