A day-long Educators’ Conference-cum-Workshop was successfully organized at College of Education, Ward No. 2, Near Lions Club, Bornahatra, Morigaon (Assam) in collaboration with the Educational Authority, Morigaon. The central theme of the event was Mental Health and Well-being – Mind Power Development through Rajyoga.
The session witnessed the gracious presence of distinguished guests including Dr. Dibyajyoti Mahanta, Retd. Professor and eminent Mathematician & Educator of national repute; BK (Dr) Arun Sarma, Ex-MP, Retd. Professor and noted Politician & Educationist; Dr. Doli Borgohain, Principal, College of Education, Morigaon; and Sjt. Apurba Thakuria, Inspector of Schools, Morigaon District Circle.
The spiritual sessions were conducted by BK Manika, Centre In-charge, Brahma Kumaris Morigaon, and BK Tarunbhai from Nagaon Centre, Assam. Both emphasized the importance of mental balance, self-empowerment, and inner peace through the practice of Rajyoga Meditation.
The workshop comprised two major parts — the morning session focused on mental health awareness and stress management, while the afternoon session delved into the Role of Spirituality, Value Education, and Rajyoga Meditation in enhancing overall well-being. Engaging value-based games and activities were also conducted, fostering joy and self-reflection among participants.
A total of 185 participants including educators, students, and professionals benefited from this insightful and transformative program. The event highlighted the growing relevance of spirituality in modern education and reinforced the value of Rajyoga in cultivating a balanced and peaceful life.
