From 17 to 19 June 2026, three Rajyoga Meditation sessions on the theme "Stress-Free and Effective Governance" were conducted at the Institute of Secretariat Training and Management (ISTM), a premier Central Government training institute under the Department of Personnel and Training.
The sessions were attended by three batches of government officers, including Directors, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, and other officers undergoing training. BK Vidhatri, Senior Faculty, Om Shanti Retreat Centre, introduced the participants to the principles and practice of Rajyoga Meditation.
The sessions offered practical insights into the causes of stress, effective stress management, and the role of meditation in developing inner stability, clarity of thought, resilience, and balanced decision-making. The programme enabled participants to explore the practical application of Rajyoga Meditation for enhancing both personal well-being and professional effectiveness.
The enthusiastic response from the participants and the ISTM management has opened encouraging possibilities for conducting similar Rajyoga Meditation sessions for future batches of government officers.
