On 4 July 2026, the Respecting Mother Nature Campaign was launched at the Brahma Kumaris' Om Shanti Retreat Centre (ORC), Gurugram, as part of its Silver Jubilee Celebrations. The programme brought together distinguished leaders, environmentalists, educators, students, and members of the community, united by a shared commitment to protecting Mother Nature and promoting sustainable living.
The event was guided by the inspiring message, "A cleaner mind creates a greener world," emphasizing that lasting environmental change begins with inner transformation.
Addressing the gathering, Hon'ble Member of Parliament Kumari Selja encouraged everyone to move beyond slogans and adopt meaningful actions for environmental protection. Renowned environmentalist Shri Vishnu Lamba ('Tree Man') reminded participants that caring for trees is just as important as planting them. Rajyogini BK Asha Didi highlighted the importance of instilling environmental values in children from an early age so that future generations grow with a deep sense of responsibility toward nature.
The programme also featured inspiring addresses by District Councillor Anju Sharma, Bhora Kalan Sarpanch Manbir Singh Chauhan, and Shri Krishna Kumar Bhardwaj, Chairman of SSC School Group, who emphasized collective responsibility in preserving the environment.
The event included a climate-awareness film, meaningful cultural performances, Rajyoga meditation, and a collective pledge, inspiring participants to strengthen their commitment to protecting Mother Nature through both awareness and action.
Concluding the programme, participants were reminded that every positive thought inspires a positive action. The campaign reinforced the message that by transforming ourselves from within, we can together create a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable world for all.
