A two-day Digital Wellness Awareness and Training Program was successfully organized for all Brahma Kumaris teachers and students of the Warangal Sub-zone on 20th and 21st July, 2024, in Warangal. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of around 150 individuals, all committed to enhancing digital awareness within the community.
The program was facilitated by the IT Wing of the Brahma Kumaris, with BK Bala Kishore serving as the lead trainer. Designed with a vision to empower participants to conduct Digital Wellness sessions in schools and colleges, the training offered insightful sessions on critical topics such as Digital Addiction, its adverse impacts on the mind, brain, and body, and effective solutions for cultivating healthier digital habits.
A strong focus was placed on Digital Detox techniques, equipping participants with practical tools to promote mental clarity, emotional balance, and technological mindfulness. The sessions encouraged self-reflection, inner awareness, and responsible use of digital devices.
This initiative stands as a testament to the Brahma Kumaris’ proactive approach in addressing modern-day challenges and fostering a more balanced, conscious, and spiritually empowered lifestyle in the digital age.
Through this training, the participants are now well-prepared to extend the message of digital well-being to educational institutions and society at large, supporting the creation of a more peaceful and aware world.
