He is the essence of the world, the fearless One, the remover of sorrow, the embodiment of compassion, radiant with divine light, self-existent.
He is the support of nature itself.
I remember Shiva, the Lord of the world, the completely vice-less One.
इस जग से अलग रहकर रूहों

Become bodiless and silently flow
in the current of Shiva’s love.
Let the soul-bird fly freely
which has long been confined in the prison of the body.
शिव परमात्मा के दरस परस का सरस सरस रस पान करो
इस जग से अलग रहकर रूहों
उस रब से रूह रूहान करो
उस रब से रूह रूहान करो
Drink deeply the sweet, elevated nectar
of the vision and touch of the Supreme Soul Shiva.
O souls, remain detached from this world
and spiritualize yourselves by connecting with that Supreme One.
Yes, connect soul-to-Soul with that Supreme One.
कर्मों के बंधन बंध जाते हैं
जो जाने अनजाने में
है राजयोग की अग्नि सक्षम
उनको भस्म कराने में
The bonds of karma are formed
knowingly and unknowingly.
But the fire of Raja Yoga is powerful enough
to burn and dissolve those bonds completely.
अब ढरदानी से वर पाकर
निज का पर का कल्याण करो
जो ध्यान तुम्हारा रखता है
तुम भी उसका कुछ ध्यान करो
तुम भी उसका कुछ ध्यान करो
Now, by receiving blessings from the Bestower,
bring benefit to yourself and to others as well.
The One who takes care of you—
you too, remember Him lovingly.

प्रभु जिनसे खुद मिलना चाहे
उन लोगों की क़िस्मत क्या कहिए
शिव परम पिता को बच्चों से
कितनी है मोहब्बत क्या कहिए
How can one describe the fortune
of those whom God Himself wishes to meet?
How can one express
the immense love the Supreme Father Shiva has for His children?
गुण भंडारी से गुण लेकर
आओ खुद को गुणवान करो
इस जग से अलग रहकर रूहों

Receive virtues from the Treasure-House of virtues
and make yourselves virtuous.
