The 10th India Day Celebrations, initiated by the Indian Public Association 'SITA' with the support of the Department of External Economic and International Relations and the Department of Culture, Government of Moscow, were successfully held at Dream Island Amusement Park in Moscow. The event was organised in partnership with various social organisations and individuals, bringing together a vibrant platform to honour India’s cultural heritage.
For the past ten years, Brahma Kumaris have been an active partner in this event, presenting a variety of meaningful programmes to fulfil the true spirit of India Day. This continuous participation has contributed to spreading spiritual wisdom, cultural values, and messages of peace and harmony.
The aim of India Day is to complement the celebrations of India’s Independence Day while offering visitors a rich experience of India’s journey from ancient traditions to modern times. The festival also reflects the shared solidarity and deep-rooted friendship between Russia and India, strengthened through generations.
The four-day celebrations witnessed the gracious presence of Brahma Kumaris family members, including respected Didis, whose contributions added sanctity, depth, and uniqueness to the festival. Their involvement highlighted the values of peace, purity, and cultural harmony, inspiring all those present.
The India Day Celebrations continue to stand as a bridge of love and understanding between nations, with the Brahma Kumaris playing a vital role in enriching the festival’s spiritual and cultural significance.
