A humanitarian service initiative was carried out by the Brahma Kumaris organization at Village Dharalta, Tehsil Billawar, District Kathua, Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, where several families were severely affected by a recent landslide. Due to this unfortunate incident, eight families lost their homes and became homeless, facing tremendous challenges in their daily lives.
In response to this distressing situation, BK Santosh, BK S.K. Sharma, and BK Romesh Bhai, in collaboration with Sarpanch Shri Mukesh Singh, extended their compassionate support by distributing ration, utensils, and blankets to all the affected families.
This act of service was aimed at providing immediate relief and emotional strength to the victims, helping them rebuild hope amidst adversity. The Brahma Kumaris representatives shared words of comfort, emphasizing that such moments of challenge remind us of the power of unity, faith, and inner peace.
The villagers expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Brahma Kumaris organization and the local administration for their timely assistance and support.
The program concluded with a few moments of collective silence and meditation for peace, courage, and the early rehabilitation of all affected families.
