Wellness Wonderland in Novato Promotes Yoga for Healthy Ageing

On 20 June 2026, the Consulate General of India, San Francisco (CGISFO) collaborated with the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, Novato, to organize a special yoga and meditation program during the Wellness Wonderland event as part of the 12th International Day of Yoga 2026 celebrations. Centered around the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing," the program brought together elderly participants, children, and members of the local community for a morning of yoga, meditation, and reflections on peace, harmony, and holistic well-being. The inclusive celebration beautifully reflected Yoga's universal message of health, inner peace, and unity across generations, inspiring harmony and strengthening community bonds.

Milpitas Marks International Day of Yoga with Vibrant Community Participation

On 21 June 2026, the Consulate General of India, San Francisco (CGISFO), in collaboration with the Association of Indo Americans and the Brahma Kumaris Meditation Center, Silicon Valley, organized a vibrant International Day of Yoga celebration in Milpitas under the theme "Yoga for Healthy Ageing." The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over 100 participants and was graced by Deputy Consul General Shri Rakesh Adlakha, Milpitas Mayor Carmen Montano, Fremont Mayor Raj Salwan, and Brahma Kumaris Sister Kusum. The gathering highlighted the growing acceptance of Yoga as a way of life, inspiring health, harmony, and inner well-being while strengthening community connections across the Bay Area.
