Bawa Lalvani Public School has undertaken a comprehensive Mental Wellness and Godly Service programme to nurture stillness, self-awareness, emotional well-being, resilience and positive living across the school community.

With the support of the Brahma Kumaris Wellness Team, the programme brings mental wellness into everyday school life through simple, practical and experiential practices designed for students, teachers and auxiliary staff.
For young children, Little Zen introduces moments of stillness and meditation. Students across different age groups participate in practices such as the Golden Pause, Kindness Wall, Digital Wellness Sessions and Fear to Power Activity, encouraging mindfulness, positive thinking, emotional awareness and balanced behaviour.

Focused support is also provided through the 21-Day Behaviour Transformation Programme, which encourages self-discipline, self-reflection, responsibility and positive behavioural habits. Regular counselling for students from Forms I–XII and teachers provides a supportive space to address personal, emotional, behavioural, academic and professional concerns.
The programme gives special attention to teacher well-being through initiatives such as Overcoming Overthinking and Teachers as Vibrational Leaders, encouraging educators to develop emotional balance, conscious responses and a positive classroom environment. An inspiring session by Dr. Prashant Kakoday further explored the nature of the mind, thought management, emotional resilience and inner peace.
The school’s mental wellness approach also extends to auxiliary staff through the special session “Three Powerful Life Principles”, while creative activities such as the Digital Wellness Wall Magazine Competition and the Summer Holiday Habit Tracker encourage students to practise healthy habits beyond the classroom.

The Golden Pause and Daily Gurdwara Meditation add a regular dimension of stillness and inner connection to school life, encouraging students and staff to experience moments of silence, conscious breathing, good wishes and positive vibrations.
Through this holistic approach, the school is encouraging a culture where individuals learn to pause, understand their inner state, make conscious choices, develop positive habits and respond to challenges with greater awareness and inner strength.
The initiative carries the simple yet powerful message that mental wellness is not merely a subject to be discussed, but a practice to be experienced in everyday life.
