On 21 June 2026, the Consulate General of India (CGI), Cape Town, in collaboration with Mzansi School of Yoga, Art of Living, Brahma Kumaris, and the BKS Iyengar Institute of Yoga, organized a vibrant celebration of the International Day of Yoga (IDY) 2026 at the picturesque Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape Town, South Africa.
The event beautifully reflected the universal spirit of yoga, demonstrating how it transcends borders and unites people from diverse backgrounds in an atmosphere of peace, balance, harmony, and well-being. Members of the wider local community enthusiastically participated in the day's wellness activities, highlighting yoga's growing role in promoting holistic health and inner transformation.
