On 6th November 2025, the Brahma Kumaris delegation was actively present at the 2nd World Summit on Social Development held at the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC) in Doha, Qatar. This landmark United Nations Summit brought together Governments, Civil Society, and global stakeholders to define collective pathways toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
Carrying the timeless message of “Inner Peace Meets Global Policy,” the Brahma Kumaris emphasized that a Shift in Consciousness is the foundation for lasting global social progress. The delegation highlighted how values-based leadership, mindfulness, and spiritual awareness can strengthen social harmony and sustainable development efforts across the world.
The team had the honour of engaging with eminent world leaders and changemakers who resonated with this perspective, including:
H.E. Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Hon’ble Minister of Labour & Employment and Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, India.
H.E. Sophie De Smedt, Ambassador & Permanent Representative of Belgium to the UN, and Co-facilitator of the Summit’s Political Declaration.
Roberto Bissio, Coordinator of Social Watch International, representing civil society accountability.
Members of the Al Thani family, the official hosts of this UN gathering.
Minister from Tuvalu, who emphasized the interlink between social resilience and the climate crisis.
Through these meaningful exchanges, the Brahma Kumaris reaffirmed the essential role of inner transformation in achieving the global vision of peace, justice, and sustainability.
Together, we are building a more inclusive, just, and sustainable world — one change in consciousness at a time.
