On 21 June 2026, the Embassy of India in Vienna, Austria, in partnership with the Brahma Kumaris, organized a special Rajyoga Meditation session as part of the celebrations leading up to the International Day of Yoga 2026. The programme brought together members of the Indian diaspora and Austrian wellness enthusiasts, promoting inner well-being, mindfulness, and universal human values.
During the session, Brahma Kumaris members introduced participants to Rajyoga Meditation, a simple and practical method of meditation suited to modern life. The participants were guided through easy steps to quiet the mind, connect with the inner self, and experience deep mental clarity, inner peace, and spiritual empowerment.
The speakers shared that Rajyoga Meditation enables individuals to reconnect with their original qualities of peace while drawing spiritual strength from the Supreme. As the mind becomes calm and focused, clarity, resilience, compassion, and positive thinking naturally become a way of life, contributing to both personal and social well-being.
The programme was well received by participants and highlighted the growing global interest in Rajyoga Meditation as an effective approach to achieving emotional balance, mental wellness, and a harmonious lifestyle. The event also strengthened the cultural and spiritual bond between India and Austria through the universal message of yoga and meditation.
