Brahma Kumaris, Unit-9, Bhubaneswar, successfully organised a prestigious Farmer Empowerment and Felicitation Ceremony at the Main Auditorium of the Regional Institute of Education (RIE), Bhubaneswar, honouring the farmers who selflessly feed the nation.
The event was graced by distinguished guests — Shri Jagadananda, Co-Founder & Co-Chairperson of CYSD, and Dr. Hrushikesh Senapati, Faculty at RIE, Bhubaneswar. The Chief Speaker, BK Raju Bhai Ji, Vice-Chairman of the Rural Development Wing, Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation (RERF), Mount Abu, delivered an inspiring address emphasising the vital link between farmer empowerment and spirituality. His words encouraged the integration of spiritual values into agricultural practices, fostering self-reliance and holistic growth.
The programme was conducted by BK Geetaji, Sub-Zone Incharge of Brahma Kumaris, Unit-9. During the ceremony, several farmers — many of whom had previously been felicitated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Naveen Patnaik — were honoured once again for their exceptional contributions to society.
The gathering not only recognised the invaluable service of farmers but also spread awareness about sustainable agriculture and the role of spirituality in building a prosperous and harmonious society. The event concluded on a note of deep gratitude and inspiration for all attendees.
