On 25 January 2026, the Brahma Kumaris Madurai Sub-Zone proudly celebrated 50 years of selfless service with a Golden Jubilee program held in a grand manner at the Tamukkam Convention Centre, Madurai. The event witnessed the presence of senior Brahma Kumaris sisters and brothers, eminent dignitaries, and a large number of citizens from Madurai and nearby areas.
The program was graced by Rajyogini Jayanti Didi, Additional Administrative Head of the Brahma Kumaris, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, Jayanti Didi, with over 70 years of spiritual experience, congratulated the Madurai Sub-Zone on its Golden Jubilee.
She shared that self-transformation through meditation leads to world transformation. She highlighted the importance of humility, clarity of thoughts, and the power of the mind in building self-confidence and facing life’s challenges. She further said that God has come to establish the Golden World, and inner positive change through Rajyoga meditation is the key to becoming worthy of that world.
Hon’ble Thiru P. Moorthy, Minister for Commercial Taxes and Registration, Government of Tamil Nadu,
appreciated the Brahma Kumaris for teaching simple and practical spiritual methods. He expressed pride in the organization’s 50 years of service in Madurai and conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the Brahma Kumaris to continue spreading spiritual values to all sections of society.
Justice G.R. Swaminathan, Hon’ble Judge of the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court,
stated that love is a powerful force that connects humanity and praised the Brahma Kumaris for its selfless service with a global vision.
Srimad Thirugnanasambanda Thambiran Swamigal of Dharumapuram Adheenam, Trichy,
spoke on divine love and said that by following the principle “Anbe Sivam – Love is God”, the Brahma Kumaris is contributing meaningfully to social transformation.
During the program, BK Beena, Tamil Nadu Zone Director, explained how Rajyoga meditation helps people remain stable during difficult situations and live a happy life. BK Uma, Madurai Sub-Zone Director, conducted a Rajyoga meditation session, giving the audience a deep experience of peace and inner silence.
The event was attended by distinguished guests including Madurai Deputy Mayor Thiru T. Nagarajan, BK Mruthyunjaya (Additional General Secretary), BK Asha (Delhi), BK Lakshmi (Mysuru), Thiru D.R. Karthikeyan (Former Director, CBI), and BK Mohan Singhal, National Coordinator.
As part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, the special souvenir was released by Minister P. Moorthy and received by Jayanti Didi. Cultural programs such as a musical performance by the Sadhakaparaivagal group from Chennai and dance performances by teams from Udupi and Madurai Kalakendra added color and joy to the evening.
The program concluded successfully in an atmosphere of peace, unity, and spiritual enthusiasm, with the participation of BK Pandiamani (Director – Value Education), BK Jayakumar (Additional Director), other office bearers, and a large gathering of the public.
