On 6 May 2026, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) organised a special session on “Stress-Free Living and Meditation” at Anand for its employees and their families. The programme featured an enlightening address by Rajyogini Ushaben, focusing on holistic well-being, inner resilience, and the importance of meditation in modern life.
Dr. Meenesh Shah, Chairman of NDDB, warmly welcomed the speaker and appreciated the initiative aimed at promoting mental wellness and balanced living among employees and their families. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from employees representing GCMMF (Amul), AMUL, IDMC, NCDFI, Vidya Dairy, and NDDB, reflecting a collective commitment towards emotional and spiritual well-being.
During her insightful address, Rajyogini Ushaben highlighted three important aspects of stress in today’s rapidly changing world. She explained that the increasing pace of change and growing complexities in life demand greater presence of mind and emotional stability. She further stressed the need to “find new bearings” by developing clarity of purpose and aligning personal values with organisational values. Emphasising inner self-management, she spoke about cultivating qualities such as focus, flexibility, calmness, patience, and tolerance to lead a balanced life.
Explaining the nature of stress, Rajyogini Ushaben described it as a function of pressure and resilience. She shared that while pressures emerge from concerns related to the past, present, and future, resilience must be strengthened from within through spiritual awareness and positive thinking. She also elaborated on how stress often operates in a self-reinforcing cycle and highlighted the importance of effective communication, simplicity in approach, and managing negative tendencies.
Concluding her address, she described stress as a signal for positive change and encouraged participants to adopt meditation, conscious relaxation, and positive thinking practices in their daily lives to remain balanced, peaceful, and proactive amidst challenges.
The session served as a meaningful initiative towards fostering mental wellness, harmony, and spiritual empowerment among employees and their families.
