On 26th and 27th January 2026, Brahma Kumaris Palakkad celebrated its Golden Jubilee Sangamotsavam 2026 at Kottayil Convention Centre, Edathara, Palakkad, marking 50 years of dedicated spiritual service in the region.
Since its humble beginning in 1976, the Brahma Kumaris in Palakkad have grown significantly under the guidance of Rajayogini Brahma Kumari Meenaji, operating from the district headquarters at Shivajyothi Bhavan, Kalpathy Bypass Road, Palakkad, with 30 sub-centres across Palakkad and Malappuram districts and the support of 25 surrendered brothers and sisters.
The Chief Guest, Most Venerable Rajayogini Brahma Kumari Jayanti Didi, Additional Chief Administrator of Brahma Kumaris, delivered a special address on the theme “Meditation – for Unity and Trust”, followed by a session of collective meditation.
The event was graced by dignitaries from Brahma Kumaris Headquarters including Additional Secretary General Rajayogi Mrutyunjaya Bhaiji, Rajayogini Hansa Didi ji, and Rajayogini Beena Behn ji, Zonal Service Coordinator for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and South Kerala, along with senior Rajayogis from Kerala and Tamil Nadu.
Prominent personalities in attendance included Shri V.K. Sreekandan, Hon’ble MP, Palakkad, Adv. Krishnadas, Chairman, Nehru Group of Institutions, former MLA Shri K.A. Chandran, Sri MP Dinesh, IPS, and others.
Eminent spiritual leaders such as Swami Chidanandapuri (Advaita Ashram, Kolathur), Swami Asheshananda (Chinmaya Mission), Swami Swaroopananda (Sivananda Ashram), Mahamandaleshwar Swami Prabhakarananda, Swami Krishnatmananda (Dayananda Ashram), Swami Devanandapuri (Sri Sankara Advaita Ashram), and Swami Poornanda (Sri Ramakrishna Asramam Wadakkenchery) accorded a traditional Poornakumbham reception to Rajayogini Jayanti Didi.
The Golden Jubilee Sangamotsavam was a memorable celebration of spiritual service, meditation, and unity, reflecting the growth and dedication of Brahma Kumaris in the region over the past five decades.
