As part of the Mental Wellness initiatives at Bawa Lalvani Public School, Kapurthala, the Golden Pause was introduced as a simple daily practice to bring moments of silence, awareness and inner calm into school life.

When the bell rings, regular classroom activities pause for five minutes, allowing students and teachers to slow down, breathe consciously and become present. The practice encourages three simple steps: Pause – Breathe – Reset.
The Golden Pause provides an opportunity to step away from the rush of daily activities, reconnect within and begin afresh with greater awareness. Through this regular practice, the initiative encourages stillness, emotional well-being, positive living and inner strength among the school community.
One bell. Five minutes of stillness. A mindful reset.
