Healing the World Begins Within

Traditionally, Raksha Bandhan (August 28th) is a celebration of the sacred bond between brothers and sisters - a thread of love tied with trust, respect, and a promise of protection. But today, when the collective vibrations or spiritual energy of our world is clouded by sorrow, fear, and conflict, both humanity and physical nature are silently crying out for protection. Let us redefine the true meaning of this festival: by making a personal commitment to raise our vibrations, purify our thoughts, and become divine instruments of healing, for the world.

Each vibration we create contributes to the Collective Consciousness of the world. Every time we choose calm over anger, acceptance over judgment, and contentment over comparison, we are shifting the world’s energy to tolerance, harmony and unity.

Our vibrations are absorbed by the five elements of physical nature - air, earth, water, sky and fire. When our minds are peaceful, loving, and compassionate, then physical nature gets purified. But when we create stress, aggression, or greed, our vibration disrupts physical nature’s harmony. The call of time is for us to think with wisdom, speak with kindness, and act with compassion. To be able to do this, let us deepen our connection with God, The Supreme Power, the Eternal Source of love, power, and purity. This connection empowers us to radiate elevated energy through our every thought, word, and action.
