Om Shanti.
Myself Dr. Jaydeep. I’m an ophthalmologist, an eye specialist, and I come from Betul, Madhya Pradesh. I would say it’s not a retreat — it’s a treat for the soul.
The way everything is covered here is truly wonderful. For example, there were spiritual sessions, and they were beautifully backed up with scientific sessions. In the spiritual sessions, we were taught to discover our innate self — the power of the soul — which is peace, purity, love, knowledge, wisdom, and power. This helps prevent overthinking and negative thinking and leads to positive thinking.
On the other hand, this was supported by scientific sessions where Dr. Gupta explained how positive thinking, healthy eating, meditation, and exercise can increase telomerase — an enzyme located on the chromosomes — which leads to a healthier life.
There were also sessions led by Bala Sir on digital well-being, with such detailed insights into how many hours and minutes we spend on social media, screens, and phones, and how this has contributed to rising rates of depression and suicide.
Every morning from 4:15 to 4:45, we had Amrit Vela meditation. Between sessions, there were short pauses of one or two minutes — each pause itself was a unique experience. In the evenings, there were outdoor meditation sessions, such as meditation in the park and in the amphitheater. These helped in releasing past blockages and old beliefs we hold on to, and in creating new beliefs that I hope will lead to a better life and contentment.
I have met wonderful people here, especially Shivani Didi, Deepa Behan, and I have made a few friends — beautiful souls whom I feel blessed to meet.
One thing I would say —
Tathastu — I am a peaceful soul.
Overall, the experience was truly divine, and I look forward to coming here again and again.
May God bless all.
Om Shanti.
