On 15 February 2026, BK Silicon Valley, Milpitas celebrated Maha Shivratri with deep spiritual joy and devotion. The event was filled with divine vibrations and heartfelt enthusiasm, bringing the community together in remembrance of Shiv Baba.
The program beautifully revealed Shiv Baba’s divine role through an inspiring skit presented by BK Kids. A graceful dance performance depicted His divine descent, while soulful devotional songs filled the atmosphere with spiritual energy. The gathering was further enriched by a powerful guided meditation that helped everyone experience inner peace and connection with the Supreme.
Sister Kusum shared profound insights on the true meaning of
Maha Shivratri and explained Shiv Baba’s role as the Seed of the human world tree. The interactive session, thoughtfully moderated by BK Rashmi, encouraged reflection and deeper understanding among the attendees.
A special candle-lighting ceremony and flag hoisting were conducted in the presence of esteemed dignitaries. The honored guests included Ms. Carmen Montano (Mayor, City of Milpitas), Mr. Raj Salwan (Mayor, City of Fremont), Mr. Abhishek Sharma (Consul, Indian Consulate in San Francisco), Mr. Jose Esteves (Former Mayor, City of Milpitas), Ms. Kathy Kimberlin (Councilmember, City of Fremont), Mr. Murli Srinivasan (Councilmember, City of Sunnyvale), Mr. William Lam (Councilmember, City of Milpitas), Mr. Igor Tregub (Councilmember, City of Berkeley), Mr. Rishi Kumar (Former Councilmember, City of Saratoga), Mr. Ajay Bhutoria (Deputy National Finance Chair, DNC), Mr. Ramesh Konda (Advisor, Association of Indo Americans), Ms. Jyoti Vora (President, Jain Center of Northern California), and Mr. Suresh Gandhi (Former President, Bay Area Youth Vaishnav Parivar).
