BK Silicon Valley, Milpitas, USA, recently collaborated with Sunnyvale Community Services and Second Harvest Food Bank of Silicon Valley to extend support to families in need.
As part of the Back to School Drive, the center helped provide more than 2,500 local students with backpacks and essential supplies. This initiative ensured that every child could begin the school year with confidence and readiness to learn. Marie Bernard, CEO of Sunnyvale Community Services, expressed her heartfelt joy and appreciation to Sr. Kusum for this meaningful partnership.
In addition, in collaboration with Second Harvest Food Bank, Brahma Kumaris volunteers offered their service by helping sort and pack nutritious food for families across the Bay Area who are facing hunger.
These initiatives reflect the Brahma Kumaris’ enduring commitment to education, compassion, and community well-being. Each act of service reaffirms the belief that small actions, when performed collectively, create a lasting and positive change in society.
