As part of the Induction Program for the incoming batch of BTech students, a special awareness session on Digital Wellness was conducted at IIT Gandhinagar by BK Bala Kishore. The session was attended by 310 first-year BTech students and emphasized the importance of balanced, mindful, and responsible use of technology in both academic and personal life.
The interactive nature of the session encouraged active participation from over 240 students, who explored practical strategies to sustain focus, mental clarity, and emotional balance in today’s digitally driven world. In a feedback poll conducted at the end of the program, nearly 80% of students strongly endorsed that Digital Wellness should be introduced as a compulsory subject, highlighting its urgent relevance for the youth.
This overwhelming response reflects the growing awareness among students of the need to nurture healthy digital habits right from the beginning of their academic journey.
The Brahma Kumaris remain dedicated to supporting educational institutions in embedding such vital life skills into their orientation programs and curriculum. With heartfelt gratitude and blessings, the Brahma Kumaris look forward to guiding many more young minds towards a future filled with peace, positivity, and digital harmony.
